There is so much I have wanted to write about if I was using this site as I really want to. I am so out of date it’s hard to know where to start. One thing is about WordPress itself. The “famous 5 minute install” is a bit misleading, or it might take 5 minutes to install but there is a lot of stuff that goes around that and i spent many hours researching and re-installing a recent WordPress project at www.pimpmymix.co.uk where I went much more in depth than I did here when I set up this one.
So I thought some links to save the hours of searching I had to do to iron out problems, especially concerning bbpress integration. But I haven’t done that.

I have been a bit more regular on Second Life again and with the sad demise of my old haunt The Bushy Beard I have been elsewhere. Brucie Lush and Steve Raymond from the Bushy Beard have set up a beach venue – Muckers where I try to go each Tuesday when Steve DJs. I try to make Plastique Munro’s Friday night set at The Green Man, London, Westminster and find his musical tastes overlap with another pub I have found run by DJ Verdant Homewood, The Wandering Star. Very interesting music to be discovered, I am a big fan of Radio 3′s Late Junction so may as well plug that to my nonexistent readership. I am relieved it is non existent because there has not been anything here really, but been busy with other stuff so I suppose that’s ok.
I also wanted to write reviews of random things and on that note I’ll end this “Just Do Something Post” by saying that Toy Story 3 is absolutely brilliant. It had a bit of everything, It doesn’t take a lot to set me off but I think you’d have to have a hard heart not to be moved. Funny, sad, scary, exciting and very poignant. Perfect. Comments and registration are open so If you do happen to read this, please leave a comment so i can see if there is anyone out there. I don’t plan to publicise this Blog at the moment but I will still try to get into the swing of Blogging, yar?

Echoes of previous videos and a mix of cultural references you expect from Robbie. Intimacy with real life girlfriend round a campfire, global-scale imagery as he struts his Robbie stuff on top of abandoned planes.
Vast and vulnerable. Spiritual-physical. The more I think about it the more I think it’s a very good Comeback Single.
Produced by Trevor Horn, Medieval Chant and Gospel styles mix with dirty electro lines and drums, clean eastern flavoured strings and big pop strings. Unmistakably Robbie, multi-layered and compact, can’t wait for the album and more videos.

looks very teasing to me, combining a distinguished maturity and a trim and handsome vitality. Soundrack sounds very current and natural. I think this could be such a brilliant phase of the many faces of Robbie.
Can’t wait to hear the new stuff. And see him in action on the videos etc….but most of all I want to see him live again. I doubt anything could ever live up to Knebworth 2003, but I think it will be way better and soothe the pain of the last live tour that wrecked him. He looks so much better now, and with an artistic strength and confidence it seems…

Old faces and new pissed themselves laughing and rolled on the floor laughing their arses off.
I was boasting no form (chesty cough, broken voice/mind and a Camming Injury to my left index finger) but there were moments, and several, when we got Right In There and I really enjoyed the way things panned out.
The Bushy Beard crowd was as supportive and playful as ever, I wish the sound (of audience) was working as usual for me – I like to hear the woots even though responses are about half a minute behind me. But I liked seeing people enjoying (and pissing) themselves in the chat window.

I was reading through the chat after the gig and there was some choice banter throughout.
Whilst I had technical problems getting stream up n running and was disappointed that I didn’t do any of my special moves etc, it was great to do a gig in the Bushy again.
Thanks especially to Zeeblebob and Jazz, it’s good to be back.
OK I’m back doing something. I haven’t been in Second Life for a long time apart from the odd drop-in to see my friends at the Bushy Beard and a quick IM here and there.
I haven’t been in RL much either and I am logging back into that too.
Online I have found several graves.com, this one I was surprised to see a fair amount of activity but I think that was due to the bug that forced me to install the new WordPress.
It is my intention to try to centralize things a bit and focus everything here. I haven’t managed to keep up with maintaining websites. My Space for example. I will try to do better…
If there is something you want to say that doesnt have an appropriate POST to comment on..please post a comment here and i will look into it and try to create the appropriate place for it…..
In my About Tab you can see some quotes I have taken from the Chat Window at gigs. I hope this Woblog will evolve into an interactive place that writes itself without me having to do any work. Please feel free to exercise ( or exorcise) your Inner Critic and write my Blurb for me.
I always stumble on the self promotion stuff, but this seems like a good idea to me…..By George I think I’ve got it!
Also specific Gig Reviews most welcome…
Any other ideas also welcome. Especially good ones.
