Rainy Day Daydream


Rain drops fall on the window pane
It's raining again
It's cold outside and it's dull and grey
And I'm stuck in on a rainy day

But in my imagination
I float away
To a tropical island
On a sunny day

The sound that the wind makes
Is the waves upon the sand
When it whistles down the chimney
That's the sound of the band

And the raindrops are the drumbeats
As we party on the beach
Daydream island
Is always in reach

A tropical island
On a sunny day
In a rainy day daydream
I drift away
